Day1

Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport - Carrillo Beach

Welcome to Costa Rica! The country’s best adventures and attractions are all yours to enjoy on this 8-day adventure. We will meet you at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport and transfer you to your hotel at the foot of the Carrillo Beach. The next three nights will be enjoyed by the warm Pacific Coast. Playa Carrillo near Samara offers a beautiful white sandy beach and sunny climate to enjoy for the rest of the trip. The rest of the day remains at your disposal to relax at the beach or to enjoy the accommodations of your hotel. End your day with a beautiful welcome dinner at a local Costa Rican restaurant.

Day2

Carillo Beach

After breakfast, set your intentions for the day with a morning wellness class. Once freshened up, you will head to the beach for your kayak tour. This incredible experience will take you to Isla Chora, where you will snorkel and discover the many ocean treasures around you! The rest of the day remains at your disposal to relax at the beach or explore.

Day3

Carrillo Beach

After breakfast, choose to get a morning stretch in during your wellness class. We will then head down to the water for a stand-up paddle mangrove tour and explore the beauty of this area! Samara will amaze you with its diversity in the mangroves, and abundant wildlife. Don't forget to pack a camera to capture all the different animals you might spot during your tour. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore or relax at the hotel and beach. In the afternoon, we will depart for a fantastic sunset tour. Enjoy a cocktail while you look out for wildlife like dolphins, whales, and sea turtles. If you feel like jumping into the water to swim, the snorkel gear will be ready for you.

Day4

Carrillo Beach - Arenal Volcano

Set the tone for a wonderful day of exploration with a sunrise wellness class. After breakfast, your journey will take you to Arenal Volcano, a natural wonder with an iconic cone-shaped crater. Along the way there, you will see plantations of various agricultural crops, ornamental plants, and cattle ranches before reaching the town of La Fortuna. The rest of the afternoon remains at your disposal to relax at the beach or to enjoy the accommodations of your hotel. In the evening, you will visit the nearby hot springs where you can relax in its natural thermal pools at different temperatures and enjoy an authentic Costa Rican dinner.

Day5

Arenal Volcano

Early this morning you will enjoy breakfast and a wellness class. Afterwards, you will visit the Mistico Adventure Park and experience a walking tour through its incredible hanging bridges. From the treetops, you will be able to appreciate an amazing view of the forest and see many of the species housed by this spectacular biological corridor. Once you finish the hanging bridges walk, continue to lunch at a nearby restaurant. From there, you will continue to a chocolate tour where you will learn everything about chocolate and its processes of sowing, harvesting, and production. The rest of the afternoon and evening remains at your disposal to relax in the thermal hot spring pools at your hotel.

Day6

Arenal Volcano

In the early morning, enjoy a morning wellness class. After breakfast, you will visit the impressive 70 meters high waterfall, La Fortuna. You will walk a path of approximately 530 steps, which will guide you to the clear waters of the Fortuna River. Upon reaching the bottom, take a refreshing swim and listen to the powerful waterfall coming down behind you. Enjoy lunch and a few hours of leisure at the hotel. Later this evening, you will freshen up and head out to experience the cultural tour of “Vida Campesina”, where you will have the opportunity to prepare a typical Costa Rican dinner with fresh organic products harvested from the property and cooked on a wood stove.

Day7

Arenal Volcano- San Jose International Airport

After breakfast, enjoy some time of leisure before you head to San Jose International Airport and bid farewell to Costa Rica.
